Tales of the Unexpected at Midlands Science Festival

Delighted to announce that I will be hosting a night of award-winning science themed short films, animations and radio as part of the programme for the brand new Midlands Science Festival.  The night will be a great opportunity to see some amazing and beautiful stories from around the globe that demonstrate that science is a fascinating subject and can be communicated in so many different and compelling ways.  After the show we’ll have a quick Q&A about science in the media and how it is portrayed.  If you’ve seen a video, animation or short film that you think deserves to make it on the night tweet me @jonathan_mccrea

So spread the word, would be great to see you there.

It’s great to see a second science festival in the country in one year, and they’ve already got some great stuff planned.  It’s on in the middle of November from 11-15th and they’ll have talks from the inimitable Luke O’Neill of TCD and Deborah Saucier from University of Ontario.  There aren’t enough of these sort of festivals, so head down and give it your support.
